This fragment can then be used to represent the defined set. So it's this damned if I do, damned if I don't quandary and my lack of experience with graphql and apollo really shines here. A fragment is a set of fields with any chosen name. If I omit the files from the fragment, the component works for all users.but then the uploader can't get their draft files. The query has a fragment for the "drafts" data, including the conditionally unwanted files. While non-edit privilege users don't see the draft, the app still queries its entire fileset, which makes fetching the dataset page really slow. The bolded part in the query in listing 10.13 is an inline. If you are querying a field that returns an interface or a union type, you will need to use inline fragments to access data on the underlying concrete type. Inline fragments can be used as a type condition when querying against an interface or a union. The draft files should only be queried if the uploader is logged in. Like many other type systems, GraphQL schemas include the ability to define interfaces and union types. The uploader has a "draft" version that they can edit in the UI, then they publish snapshots of the draft, which all users can see. GraphQL::FragmentCache powers up graphql-ruby with the ability to cache response fragments: you can mark any field as cached and it will never be resolved again (at least, while cache is valid). But at most once per build, unless the node’s state somehow changes afterwards.I'm working on an app that allows users to upload large datasets. This means your custom resolver may be invoked multiple times even if fewer (or zero) nodes are actually returned by a filter step. As such, before applying a filter all nodes will go through a final resolve step which populates the node._gatsby_resolved field. Custom resolversīefore applying filters, all fields of any node that a filter wants to match should be completely resolved. No internal effort is done to detect these cases. path: an exact property path when traversing an object (. Go to graphql r/graphql Posted by webstackbuilder Can I define fragments on either the client or the server It seems like I define fragments on either the client (using functions like gqlor graphql) or on the server (using functions like buildSchemaor instantiating objects like GraphQLSchema). It’s a way of programmatically asking “show me all nodes where node.a.b.c leads to a value less than 5“. In general a filter has a “filter path” component ending with a “comparator”, and a “filter value”. The syntax and API used by the filters is based on the MongoDB query syntax but keep in mind only a subset of comparators is supported in Gatsby. I am trying to run a query returning a union type (e.g. The UserData fragment now includes the UserPosts fragment, creating a hierarchical composition of reusable components. This system was called “fast filters” and as of (June 2020) the Sift library is no longer used. In a raw GraphQL call this would be achieved using conditional fragments like so: query a. Unfortunately Sift did not align with how Gatsby used it and so a custom system was written to slowly replace it. History and Siftįor a long time Gatsby used the Sift library through which you can use MongoDB queries in JavaScript. Type language GraphQL services can be written in any language. Then, when queries come in, they are validated and executed against that schema. The rest of the processing, such as pagination, is handled on the GraphQL resolver level. Every GraphQL service defines a set of types which completely describe the set of possible data you can query on that service. The GraphQL filter argument is passed to the filtering system and will return all the nodes that match each of the given filters. Why query with apollo client on fragment gives me an empty object while api is working fine How to pass array of objects to the graphql query from js. for file type it would be file and allFile). This data, stored as individual “nodes”, can be searched through using a query language that is inspired by MongoDB queries.įiltering is used in GraphQL root fields of node types (e.g. Gatsby stores all data loaded during the source-nodes phase in Redux and it allows you to write GraphQL queries to query that data. It collaborated with Intel to create Krita Sketch as a marketing campaign and Krita Studio with KO GmbH as a commercially supported version for movie and VFX studios. The Krita Foundation was created in 2013 to provide support for Krita's development. As a result, the development gained speed and resulted in better performance and stability. Also from that point, the project began to experiment with various ways of funding its development, including Google Summer of Code and funded jobs for students. Ī change of direction happened to the project in 2009, with a new goal of becoming digital painting software like Corel Painter and SAI. In years between 20, Krita was developed as a generic image manipulation software like Photoshop and GIMP. The first public version of Krita was released with KOffice 1.4 in 2004. To avoid existing trademarks on the market, the project underwent numerous name changes: KImageShop, Krayon, until it was finally settled with "Krita" in 2002. In 1999, Matthias Elter proposed the idea of building the software using CORBA around ImageMagick. The idea of building a Qt-based image editor was later passed to KImage, maintained by Michael Koch, as a part of KOffice suite. History The Krita team in 2014Įarly development of the project can be tracked back to 1998 when Matthias Ettrich, founder of KDE, showcased a Qt GUI hack for GIMP at Linux Kongress. It follows the "K" prefix like everything else in the KDE suite. The project's name "Krita" is primarily inspired by the Swedish words krita, meaning " crayon" (or chalk), and rita which means "to draw". The software runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and ChromeOS, and features an OpenGL-accelerated canvas, colour management support, an advanced brush engine, non-destructive layers and masks, group-based layer management, vector artwork support, and switchable customisation profiles. Indeed, Nano had a preference for small ‘noiseless’ beginnings ‘to show that it is God’s work and has not been effected by human means’. This informed Nano’s thinking and her actions and was something that she addressed in many of her letters. It has been a Presentation tradition to plant a seed at the start of a new foundation.įor Nano Nagle the gospel image of the mustard seed was understood both as an image of disproportionate growth, and also one of powerful faith that moved mountains. The story of Presentation Sisters has often been described as “from acorn to oak” – a small seed growing into a large leafy tree, whose leaves provide shade and shelter and which, in time, bear fruit. It too has become a symbol of Presentation… representing the unique planting and then the strong growth and expanse. The Oak Tree is strong yet grows from such a small seed. Trees that are very old can potentially produce thousands of these tree nuts. The older the tree, the greater the number of acorns produced. ‘Noiseless’ beginningsĪcorns are nuts that form on mature oak trees. The archetypal ecology of tree and water is rooted in some of the most ancient religious traditions of the world, and on a physical level it serves to remind us to pay attention to the interconnectedness of the living world, if life on earth is to survive and thrive. Places where people have come for centuries to drink or bathe in the waters, and to pray and leave a votive offering. Indeed, the sacred ecology of trees and water is enshrined all over the Celtic landscape, where hundreds of holy wells bordered by guardian trees still dot the countryside today. Chieftains were inaugurated at the sacred tree, for, with its roots stretching down to the lower world, its branches reaching to the upper world, it connected them with the power both of the Heavens and the Earth. When a tribe cleared the land for a settlement, they always left a great tree in the middle, known in Ireland as the “ crann bethadh,” or “Tree of Life” that embodied the security and integrity of the people. In the days of the Celts, Northern Europe was covered with forests so thick it was said, that a squirrel could hop from branch to branch, from one end to the other, without touching the ground. Representing the amazing growth from a single small seed… Nano’s first school and community in Cove Lane (Cork) to a ‘global tree’ of Presentation People all over the world. It has become known over many years as a symbol of the Presentation Congregation. Beautiful, simple and very particular in design. Not surprising then to think about the Acorn. It is a thankful, hopeful, expectant and inspirational period as we look outward and forward. This time of extended light and emerging buds ( bachlóga) allows one to notice and stop in wonder at each semblance of new life appearing out of nature’s harvesting of autumn fruits with their seeds, and their hidden, slow nourishment during winter days. From here, you can audition the supplied individual performances. While you can, of course, play EZKeys like any other virtual instrument, clicking on the large Browser button opens the MIDI performance browser in the upper half of the window. They are automatable from within your DAW but, aside from adjusting their levels, the user doesn't get access to the effects engine to pick their own combination of effects. These last four are 'smart' controls, in that their function changes with each preset, so, for instance, you might get reverb, tone, detail and compression with one preset and space, filter and time with another. The lower half of the window contains the Song Track, transport buttons, key/tempo controls, master volume knob and four effects controls. My humble sustain pedal worked just fine via my master MIDI keyboard. Three footpedals are supported, namely Sustain, Sostenuto and Soft, for those with a full complement. These allow you to adjust the instrument's response to MIDI velocity, to suit your MIDI keyboard or playing style, and to adjust the global tuning. The graphics of both piano surfaces feature flip-top sections to access dynamics and tuning controls. Aside from conventional piano sounds, the presets also include a few more weird and wonderful variants, courtesy of the built-in effects, so, for example, the Upright's 'Filter Sweep' preset is almost synth-like, demonstrating that the instrument is capable of more than just conventional piano sounds. You can pick which library/preset combination you require from the drop-down menus located at the top of the window and, if required, audition notes from the graphical keyboard (at different velocities depending upon where on the key you click). While the graphics change to reflect whether a Grand or Upright sound is selected, the key elements of the user interface remain the same. I installed both from downloads (each at just over 420MB), and the online authorisation was very straightforward. I suspect that Toontrack will add to these possibilities over time. For the purposes of the review, I was supplied with the two options currently available: a Grand piano and an Upright. Like SD 2.0, you can purchase the EZKeys engine with one set of sounds and then add further sounds as expansion packs at a reduced price. All the usual plug-in formats are supported, and a stand-alone version is also provided. The basic concept of EZKeys will be familiar to anyone who has experienced Superior Drummer: the sample-based playback engine partners a set of MIDI performances that can be sequenced within the application and, if required, exported to a host DAW. Does it hit the right note? Grand Entrance Given just how good SD 2.0 is, EZKeys has a lot to live up to. More recently, Toontrack have been branching out from their drum-based roots, and the latest offering is EZKeys, a virtual piano instrument for both Mac and PC. If you can afford the price of entry, you have all the tools you need to create first-class drum tracks. When it comes to top-notch virtual drum instruments, Toontrack's Superior Drummer 2.0 is right up there, and offers a wide variety of both drum-kit expansion packs and MIDI performance packs in a range of different musical styles. Does their EZKeys virtual piano reach an equally high note? Toontrack's Superior Drummer has proved a big hit. Triple Peak Fork Falls From Trail 1 Triple Peak Fork Falls From Trail 2 Although not well-known by most backpackers, this feature is highly coveted by waterfall connoisseurs. These falls occur where the Triple Peak Fork of the Merced River tumbles over a 500-foot slab in a series of short plunges and curving waterslides. Another of our trip highlights-Triple Peak Fork Falls-soon came into view. Morning Sun At Merced Lake Hiking Up Merced River On Day 3 Looking Across Washburn Lakeīeyond Washburn Lake, the trail took us through grassy, open forest and across the Merced River. We broke camp and continued hiking up the Merced River, passing by an abandoned ranger station before arriving at Washburn Lake. Our day began with sunny weather but with a threat of afternoon rain or snow showers. According to some of the other scramblers, this little thief is named “Steve,” and he has a criminal RAP sheet as long as his fuzzy nose.Ĭamp 2 At Merced Lake Day 3: Merced Lake to Merced Peak Fork Basin View Northwest From Clouds Rest Summit View Northeast From Clouds Rest Summit View East From Clouds Rest SummitĪs a testament to the regular parade of summit visitors, a brazen marmot scurried around the summit, trying to steal food from unattended rucksacks. We spent nearly an hour trying to identify the many surrounding mountains, although with only limited success. It immediately became obvious why Clouds Rest is such a popular summit: This centrally located peak is an outstanding viewpoint for the entirety of Yosemite National Park. Eileen On Summit Of Clouds Rest Looking Down Tenaya Canyon From Clouds Rest Summit We gained the roomy summit in early afternoon (3.6 hours + 2200 feet from Camp 1), along with a dozen other scramblers who had come up the more-direct southwest ridge. High on the ridge, our route transitioned to a delightful Class 1-2 scramble on a grippy granite sidewalk. Trail Sign On Northeast Ridge Of Clouds Rest Our trail took us to a broad saddle between Sunrise Mountain and Clouds Rest, then back along the northeast ridge of the latter peak. After stashing backpacks here, Eileen and I headed up the left-hand (northernmost) branch toward Clouds Rest-one of the most popular summits in Yosemite. In a short ½ mile, we arrived at Sunrise Junction, where two other trails branch off the JMT in the shape of a trident. We awoke to another warm, sunny morning and were back on the trail at 9:00am. Camp 1 In Sunrise Creek Flats Quartzite Peak From Sunrise Creek Flats Day 2: Sunrise Creek Flats to Merced Lake + Clouds Rest Sidetrip Despite being in the middle of a charred forest, our camp was comfortable and functional. We pitched our tent on a sandy bench with a view of Quartzite Peak across Merced Canyon. Having previously done it with the cables in place, we both thought “No thanks!”Įileen and I continued up Sunrise Creek until reaching a grassy flat at 7800 feet (7.4 hours + 7.5 miles + 4300 feet from parking lot). Several climbers reported that the Cable Route is doable but much more difficult under these pre-season conditions. Considering that the Half Dome climbing cables had not yet been installed for the summer season (they were installed a couple days later), we were surprised to see many people coming down from Half Dome. The JMT led us upward along Sunrise Creek, past the Half Dome Trail Junction. Normally, this DLC alone wouldn't bother us, but when combined with a $30 DLC pass which in this case, is stuff that should be in there (and already is), and with $45 of weapon skin textures (yeah, skins), it just adds more salt in the wound which is still burning us. With the good guys getting more support, perhaps the next DLC will add more challenging bosses to balance out the added firepower. The other fortifications sound epic and we can definitely make use of these new unlock to conquer wave 50 on some of the more challenging maps. That means, just like the characters skins from the campaign, it was selected to be not included in the multiplayer so it can be charged for separately after.Ĭheck below for screenshots of the content - the Azura map sure looks pretty: The silverback upgrade was something obviously left out since in Horde mode, the game currently only allows for one upgrade and doesn't even let the mech become what it is in the campaign. Notice anything? Outside of the weapon skins, most of this stuff is already in the game and likely on the disc. The Horde Command Pack launches November 1st for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) and adds 250 worth of achievement poitns for players to earn.
